Massage Therapist Bio's

Hi my name is Brittany Smoak, I was born and raised in Florida. My family and I moved to Vancouver when I was 13. I graduated from Columbia River High School, and went to Everest College for massage. I am certified by the NCBTMB and have my massage license in Washington. I am proficient in deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, as well as, sports massage. I enjoy helping clients feel more relaxed and stress free; Also to them reach their health and fitness goals. When I’m not working I enjoy playing video games, or just lounging around, and also spending time with friends and family.

My intentions are to provide holistic care to my clients by providing self-care activities, nutritional advice, and compassionate touch.  I use a variety of massage techniques to address the needs of each individual.  I love working with individuals who are ready to listen to their body, are proactive with their health & healing, and seeking personal growth, mentally, physically & spiritually.

A depth of practical & professional experience guides me, in addressing each massage with a curiosity and open mind.  By taking in account of daily lifestyle habits, job related stresses, exercise routines and personal goals, I can address the body in a holistic way.

I enjoy receiving bodywork, practicing Bikraham Hot Yoga, reading, hiking, camping, and road trips with my family.  I enjoy cooking, knitting, crafts and spending time with my daughter.  I am continually seeking to further my education, by taking classes in bodywork and fields of interest.  I am currently enrolled in a Holistic Health Practice class, seeking to become a Holistic Health Practitioner, in order to better serve my clients’ needs and health related questions.

Paul Fearn DC

Dr. Fearn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-med from Humboldt State University then moved to Washougal in 1992 to attend Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, OR. He graduated in 1997.

Dr. Fearn considers chiropractic as his second career as for twenty plus years he was a professional chef.  It was a career that offered a young man many exciting and often unusual opportunities.  He has been a chef whose employers included Clint Eastwood, Robert Redford, and Mrs. Fields with kitchens on chuck wagons, sailboats, and oil rigs.  Dr. Fearn has driven taxis, guided tourists as a boatman in the Grand Canyon, and even guided skiers in Utah’s Wasatch Mountains.  All of this was possible from his culinary connections and expertise.

He believes his past occupations have allowed him to become a great doctor.  He has been able to find the compassion in dealing with stressed people by pulling examples from his past and applying them to the present.  Pain and fear are closely linked and people exhibit similar behavior patterns under stress.

As a chiropractic doctor, Dr. Fearn has worked over the last ten years to assemble a team of natural health practitioners.  Fearn Natural Health Inc.,PC combines traditional chiropractic and massage with naturopathy and acupuncture.   “I believe that our team can treat the entire family safely and effectively.  Our philosophy is to treat the whole person from within by treating the cause, not the symptoms.” – Paul Fearn

Dr. Fearn’s hobbies include golfing, fishing, skiing, and working on his home.  He lives in the Columbia Gorge directly above Cape Horn with his wonderful wife and their two dogs.

My name is Jennie Pace and I am the Office Manager for Fearn Natural Health Clinic in Camas, Washington.  I attended George Fox University where I had a double major in Psychology and Social Work.  I worked as a Social Worker for the state of Illinois for 2 years, before finding my calling in Human Resources.  I have managed 2 professional recruiting offices over the past 13 years and have an extensive accounting background.  I handle the scheduling, patient relations, human resources, day to day operations and billing for the clinic.

I have two children, Elizabeth 8 and Mikey 6, who keep me on my toes!  We are a very musical family with both Elizabeth and Mikey tagging along to most concerts.  I spend my free time photographing various bands, attending concerts and outdoor music festivals.  My photographs have been published in various music related magazines and featured on multiple bands’ websites.
